DIAGNOSIS RED-S – EVER HEARD OF IT?

Reduced Energy Deficiency in Sport. A medical syndrome that can occur in athletes when they do not consume enough energy to meet the demands of their training and sporting activities. This lack of energy can lead to a variety of health problems, including hormonal imbalances, bone loss and stress fractures, menstrual irregularities, and reduced performance.

RED-S affects both male and female athletes and can occur in various sports. Identifying and treating RED-S is important to prevent long-term health complications and maintain athletic performance. This often requires adjustments to diet and exercise, as well as close collaboration with medical professionals. Athletes, trainers and medical staff should be aware of the risks of RED-S and take appropriate preventive measures.

OUR KEY TO SUCCESS:
INTERDISCIPLINARY CARE.
The strength of our network lies in interdisciplinary support. We work together as a team to ensure all aspects of health and performance are covered. This holistic approach allows us to develop individual training and health plans tailored to the needs of each athlete.

Together we define your weakpoints, discuss them with our team and will then be able to put you in contact with the person that can help you the best. We will accompany you personally or online on your journey and support you until you reach your goal.
We are all recognised by health insurance companies and can be billed through national basic health care (Krankenkasse) as well as through an additional insurance policy (Zusatzversicherung).
